Complete Price List
To place an order, call 806-826-5618 or by e-mail though the Contact
Us link at the top of this page.
Prices are subject to change. All costs are plus shipping.
I will try to ship the most economical way unless you
want shipping by a faster method, ie. next day or 2nd day air.
There is no charge for domestic credit card usage. A 4% charge on the
total will be added to international credit
card payments.
Upon completion of work done on your rifle, the balance owed will be
due before the rifle is shipped. Any rifle that
has not been paid in full within 45 days of completion of the work done
will be considered the property of
Bryant Custom and will be sold to pay for the balance owed on the rifle.
I send invoices first by e-mail or then by
U.S. Mail, if I do not have a response stating that the invoice was received
by e-mail. I will make every attempt to
contact the owner upon completion of the rifle. This is usually not a
problem as most owners are ready for their rifles
upon completion.
I prefer not work on someone else's problem. If you have
a custom rifle built by another builder and can't get it
to shoot, you need to contact that builder and work it out with him. While
I can correct someone else's problem,
it is better if you can work it out with him as it's work that you have
already paid to have done once.
You have 30 days approval from when you receive the rifle back from having
work done. During this time if there is anything
that has not been done to your satisfaction, I will work with you to make
sure that it's done to your satisfaction. After 30 days,
it will be assumed that all work was done to the customer's satisfaction
and any additional work that you want done will be
charged at the going rate.
Price List Effective as of June 1, 2008.
I specialize
in building exceptional rifles on Remington
700 actions and benchrest quality custom actions. I
will
work on nothing else but those as of September
2006.

recoil pad or butt plate as it is built into the stock. If you use another
stock other than the McMillan Edge for the benchrest
rifle package, adding a butt plate or recoil pad adds $75. Substituting
a Robertson Composites SG&Y Benchrest stock will
add $200 in cost to the $1350 cost of the benchrest rifle package. The
difference in cost is for the difference in cost for the
Edge and the extra cuts needed to make port and bolt handle cuts. Price
is subject to change when using a Robertson
Composites stock due to the changes in the exchange rate between Canada
and the US. On the hunting rifle package,
there is no extra charge for going to any of McMillan's basic stocks.
Other options such as 3 way adjustable butt pads and
adjustable cheek pieces are available when ordering a stock from McMillan
at McMillan's retail price shown on their web site
or their current price whichever is applicable.

Non Magnum calibers: |
$250.00
|
- Metric Threads:
- Magnum chamber:

Blast Barrel:
- High Polish on Barrel:Price depends upon smoothness
of barrel originally
- Note: If it is a customer supplied barrel that
is not finished turned, that is if the barrel has ridges on the
outside of the barrel contour and has to be cleaned up before
chambering, there is an additional charge to finish the barrel,
depending upon how rough the exterior of the barrel blank is.
There is no extra charge on customer supplied Hart, Lilja, Shilen,
Broughton or Krieger barrels that are pre-contoured. The extra
charge applies to Douglas, Rock and other rough turned barrel

Chamber gage:
Reamer is run in to the bottom of
the shoulder giving the same neck diameter and throat as your chamber.
This allows a quick check on neck diameter and also is an easy way
to find a starting seating depth. This is only for chambers without
special throating, (ie. separate throating reamer).

$25.00 |
| Match Grade 416 Stainless Steel Barrel, by special order
only. |
|
- Bartlein, Broughton, Hart,Krieger,
Lilja, or Shilen Select Match (Barrel Only):
All barrel prices are retail from the supplier with the cost of
shipping from them added. Price shown is for regular length blanks.
Longer barrels are priced according to the supplier. |
From $315.00
|
Total cost for stainless steel barrel supplied, fitted
and chambered to fit your action.
Your selection of above maker of barrel included. Action truing
cost and return shipping not included. Extra cost options listed
in Rebarreling section of this price list.
|
From $565.00
depending upon options wanted.
|
| Barrel Fluting ( 6 to 8 flutes): Pricing depends
upon number of flutes, flute diameter and length. Fluting is done
in house on a Brown
& Sharpe horizontal mill for barrels that come in that a customer
wants fluted. I normally order fluted barrels from the manufacturer
instead of doing it in house when ordering barrels for customers.
The mill is only used for fluting stainles steel barrels. Chome moly
barrels are just too hard on my tooling and wear out cutter too quickly. |
$125.00 to
180.00 |
| Interrupted Fluting: Note this is only offered
as an option on new Hart barrels and is done by them. |
$185.00 |
| Cut off Threads and Re-chamber, Re-thread & Re-crown: |
$250.00 |
Re-chambering:
Pricing depends upon what has to be done: $125 is for rechambering
with no threading work.
I won't rechamber a factory barrel to a chambering
that may or may not clean up with my reamer. For instance, a factory
chambering to an Ackley Improved may or may not work depending upon
the diameters of your chamber compared to the diameters of my reamer.
|
From $125.00
to chambering rates. |
Re-Crown, 11o Indicated, Recessed or
Flat Target Crown: (Depending on length
of barrel and/or style desired) |

Single point threading tool, all done on same setup. Surface
Grind Recoil Lug or replace with Holland recoil lug pinned in
place, (your choice), Square bolt face and lugs.
Retime 700 bolt handle if necessary(Remove bolt handle, move forward
and silver brazed back on, bead blasted finish on stainless actions
or refinish bolt handle with gun kote on matte finish actions.)
Square Receiver Face, Square receiver lugs, threads re-cut with
single point threading tool, all done on same setup. Pacific Tool
recoil lug pinned in place with USA grade 8 pin. Fitting your customer
supplied Pacific or Tubb bolt to receiver with already attached
bolt handle. Ream raceway to .705" if needed to fit oversized
bolt body. I recommend using a .704" diameter Pacific bolt
if you have the raceway reamed to .705".
Silver braze stainless bolt handle to Pacific bolt if bolt handle
comes in not attached to bolt body. |

for a custom rifle. |
Install Sako Extractor - Remington Only:
(if done at same time as action truing): Bolt
counter-bore is reduced to .125" when done on a rebarrel job
allowing the web of the cartridge to fit into the chamber. The old
extractor groove is bored out and bushed to the new diameter. This
can convert the bolt to be used in whatever size diameter cartridge
you want to use. It also prevents problems with the case hanging up
in the old extractor groove because its no longer there. |
